SkaDate Dating Software Presents: Avengers Online Dating ProfilesHey guys! Know what I did last month (apart from writing for the SkaDate Dating Software blog that is)? I watched The Avengers. Several times. Some of them on the row. And it looks like I wasn’t alone in this seemingly irrational behavior. Going by box office numbers, the entire world population just gave up and went to see the costumed heroes fight Tom Hiddleston and strike poses.

Before that haze is gone and replaced with the delirium of the oncoming Dark Knight Rises, I want to return to the Marvel characters for the one last hurray. Bear with me, SkaDate dating script holders, I wouldn’t dare taking a lot of your time on the last day of May. Instead, I’ll give you a few superhero profiles. Don’t forget to click on each image for a bigger picture!

SkaDate Dating Software Team:
Irene, SkaDate Project Manager

By Zima.

SkaDate Dating Software: People Behind The NameIn 2012 SkaDate Dating Software was finally recognized a leading product on the niche market of dating solutions, while the SkaDate Team received the long overdue acclaim it deserves.

The iDate Runner-Up Award for the best dating software, as well as skyrocketing number of websites using it, on top of the 9th version of SkaDate dating script actually seen as a pinnacle of Skalfa’s impressive lineup, all contributed to this success.

This achievement is even more impressive, since Skalfa, the company behind the product, is actually an independent group of very dedicated developers, technicians, designers, and other visionaries. I think it’s the perfect time I introduce some of them to you through a series of brief interviews; and it’s appropriate to start with the product manager, Irene.

What is it that you actually do at Skalfa, and more specifically at SkaDate?

I deal with everything related to customer satisfaction, whether it’s a support ticket or blog comment from an unhappy client, or SkaDate feature suggestions.

If we narrow that down to a job title, I am a Customer Service Department Manager, and I’m the right person to contact if you are dissatisfied with the quality of services or products provided by the SkaDate Team.

I am also the SkaDate Project Manager. I control various aspects of the software release planning and infrastructure development.

What is the biggest challenge in day-to-day management of a big project like SkaDate?

The biggest challenge is getting every part of this compound project to work smoothly and without interruption: coordinating sales, support, marketing and development teams in a way for them to form a flawless infrastructure rather than remain as isolated parts.

How often do you communicate with clients and how important is client input in SkaDate development?

As a Customer Service Department Manager, I process customers’ feedback daily. Whether the feedback is positive or negative, software- or service-related, it is thoroughly considered in decision making. Starting from SkaDate v.7, we’ve been forming the software releases based on the customers’ feature suggestions.

Does negative feedback from unfair competitors bother you?

Not really. A careful reader can always tell a real client’s review from a biased post intended to slander the company. Nevertheless, I always prefer to respond both, to fake and real feedback in order to help separate the husk from the grain.

What can SkaDate clients expect in the nearest future?

Summer is a hot season. And we are preparing quite a few pleasant surprises for potential and current customers. Feature updates are planned for SkaDate Software and its Mobile Edition. So, stay tuned and keep track of the news.

SkaDate Dating Software Niches 101: Geek Dating

SkaDate Dating Software Niche 101: Geek DatingWelcome back to the SkaDate Dating Software series on online dating niches. Check out this list for our past entries. Today I want to do something different, and instead of looking at obvious top-tier choices in the selection of categories, I’ll dig deeper.

After all, you don’t have to be a brainiac to make a sugar-daddy service work. How about a website for geeks? Can it make money and become popular? Well, yes of course it can. Everything is possible with a little bit of thinking and a handy copy of the SkaDate dating script.

Remember when Rick Moranis was the epitome of geekness? Yeah, that time has passed. And if you are asking who’s Rick Moranis, than you are not geek enough to read a post about geek dating niche. The geekness of Rick Moranis was trendy before it was mainstream. Only in his time he was just that – a geek and little more. (Mr. Moranis, please come back, we need you).

Before continuing further, we should come to terms with the fact that we have to readjust our values a bit. Things that were considered ‘geek’ in high school are actually hip now. That’s right.

Do you even know who’s considered geek these days? Let’s see. Natalie Portman, Jessica Biel, Thora Birch, Ellen Page, Jordana Brewster, Emma Watson, Zooey Deschanel, etc.  And these are just Geek Chics – the girls who openly embrace their geeky stereotype (with the exception of Deschanel, of course, who is actually a Geek Goddess).

Also, look around you – we live in a real geek renaissance, with sci-fi and comic book movies setting box office records, fashion industry incorporating traditionally nerdy elements in their collections, tech development becoming a standard water cooler topic, and genuine geeks turning into millionaires and ruling the world.

That’s good news to you, the owner of a geek dating website. Because geeks pay. Indeed, people like Thomas Lennon’s character in 17 Again are no longer a hyperbole. Just ask anybody in Palo Alto. Or anywhere else outside the set of the latest Sylvester Stallone’s movie.

So basically, by setting up a geek site you’ll score anyway. It will attract both, real and proud geeks, as well as a much larger crowd of people who think that it’s hip to pretend to be geek.

Look, in the past geeks posed as being someone else on the Internet just to attract attention. Now it works the other way around. The toughest of your former classmates don huge-frame glasses, brush up on Star Trek and Marvel heroes, and dust off forgotten Hasbro merchandise to venture online. Girls dig this stuff at the moment. And that’s a clear opportunity to capitalize on the trend.

In fact, I think I found more geek dating sites while doing research for this post than I did while writing about any of the past Niche 101 articles. GeeksMeet, Geek 2 Geek, Soul Geek, Sweet on Geeks, Nerd Passions, Geek Love, etc., And then there’s Geek is Single, which openly states on the front page that it’s a site, “Where the girls chase the geeks”. You get the picture.

SkaDate Dating Software: Statistics and Hard Facts

SkaDate Dating Software: Statistics and Hard FactsWriting for SkaDate Dating Software blog and viewing numerous websites created with our award winning dating solution on the daily basis, I know for a fact that a lot of our clients out there have succeeded big time. Nevertheless, I know that some of you feel frustrated during the initial  uphill battle of getting the first few members to sign-up. Don’t.

You have SkaDate dating script – one of the best tools on the market, and believe you me, the potential members are out there. The proverbial sea still has plenty of fish in it, and I’m going to prove it to you with some hard facts. I will also give you statistics you can share with your members or potential clients. The thing to remember – Online Dating works! Both, as a business model, and a matchmaking mechanism.

First of all, let’s get to the bottom of it. Without any dubious insider sources, let’s look at the real number of singles in America. According to Reuters and Washington Herald, there are 54 million of them. And 90% of that number are willing to try, or already tried online dating.

Just think about it: there are over 40 million people out there who can be your clients in the US alone. And no, they won’t vanish in the generic ocean of Match.com users. Because Match.com has only 15 million members. And a half of them (if not more) have accounts with other dating services.

Also, I want to make sure you understand that all these single people are not just sitting idly in front of their computers. In fact, they are actively spending hard earned money on dating services. How actively? To the tune of $1.049 Billion per year! That’s over $200 per each customer annually. And if you see some of them leave shortly after signing-up, don’t worry. It’s a fact that 10% of all users step off the Internet dating train within the first 3 month; others continue to ride along.

So, now let’s see what actually keeps these users returning to online dating sites. Again, not to give any questionable info, I’ll use the research data of the Stanford University and the City College of New York.

According to them, 30% of all new couples in the US met through the Internet matchmaking services. The figure is twice as big for gay pairs, and we are talking about the three-year-old research. The numbers have been steadily climbing since then.

Now, couples are good, but how many of them tie the knot after meeting on a dating site? The answer is a whooping 17% for the last year alone! This figure adjusts to an even more impressive 20% for  committed relationships.

It gets even better  if your members are looking for something less serious. Did you know that 33% of women are ready to have sex on the first online dating encounter? You’d think that with a stat like that matchmaking sites will be awash with men. Wrong again.  47.6% of all singles on online dating sites are females. How about that?

Well, there you have it. Online dating is big and isn’t going anywhere. So drop your doubts and any shades of frustration. Once you get through the obligatory 10% benchmark, you’ll be on the way to profit. Good luck to you and your members!
