[...] Heading for SkaDate December Uprade November 17, 2007 &#8211; 10:32 am One of our customers found a couple bugs recently. I mean a couple real program code bugs, not common misconfigurations or interface shortcomings. A rare thing to catch nowadays since at the solid sixth version (SkaDate Unity) we seem to have figured out most of them, current updates are all about minor interface tweaks, existing features rearrangement for better usability and more powerful administration tools.
Terri,

chuPPo <a href="http://www.chuppo.com/chat/" rel="nofollow">Chat</a> and <a href="http://www.chuppo.com/messenger/" rel="nofollow">IM</a> applications have sound, they even come preinstalled with SkaDate. chuPPo Chat even has a great free option for starting sites. You can even have Userplane or whatever chat software installed in SkaDate. I'm not sure what confuses you.

When is Skadate going to keep up with other sites and add sound to chat AND IM. Even free sites like plentyoffish have userplan with sound. You deleted my previous comment regarding this. If you want to be the best then you need to keep up with the competition, which you are clearly not doing.

Robert,

Thanks for your feedback. The first feature is available through profile field settings, the second feature is possible by slight modification of the profile comment system.

Another good idea that should be a part of the skadate script is that couples have to be female and male on the profiles and we all know this is 2007 where alot of couples is of the same sex and that should also be a search field ( male, female, Couples male &#38; female, couples FF, couples MM, and another ive seen around TG/TV/TS for the transgenderd, transvestites, transsexuals) where two lesbians can look for two lesbians or a TS can look for a TS. etc.

And another idea would be a Certification ( feedback ) on profiles of the person with a account on a dating site. ( example: a man is talking to what he thinks is a woman they meet up and it turns out to be a man living as a woman EX: JERRY SPRINGER with this option the guy can go home log into the (feedback) section of the guys profile who's deceiving people and can warn EVERYBODY. This would be a great security feature for females to warn them of a predator. And to have this feature where nobody can delete the feedback except the administrator of the site. And yes theres ways around the feature like creating a new profile but if it saved one person its well worth adding. I also believe in the near future its gonna be the sites that have security features to protect its clients thats gonna own the online dating world.

Paul,

This is to protect SkaDate-powered sites from hack attempts (sanitizing variables to prevent unsolicited input values). Some of our hosted clients did have their homepages replaced but as we discovered the problem right at the process of hacking, our team reacted instantly, now all our hosted customers are protected.

Those who are not hosted at our servers should apply the update as soon as possible.
