SkaDate important update: 6.495

Attention customers!
We have released 6.495 update with important security patch today. Feel free to log in to customer area to download and apply the new changes.
NOTE: If you are running version 5 (SuccessPoint) or 6 (Unity) and not willing/able to upgrade in full, please change (merge) your components/components.profile_list.php file.
Find this piece of code:

It needs to be replaced with the appropriate piece of code from the updated file.

What exactly does this do - is this following the major hack of your servers On Saturday - to which I have still not recv a written explaination ?

Paul,
This is to protect SkaDate-powered sites from hack attempts (sanitizing variables to prevent unsolicited input values). Some of our hosted clients did have their homepages replaced but as we discovered the problem right at the process of hacking, our team reacted instantly, now all our hosted customers are protected.
Those who are not hosted at our servers should apply the update as soon as possible.

When is Skadate going to keep up with other sites and add sound to chat AND IM. Even free sites like plentyoffish have userplan with sound. You deleted my previous comment regarding this. If you want to be the best then you need to keep up with the competition, which you are clearly not doing.

chuPPo Chat and IM applications have sound, they even come preinstalled with SkaDate. chuPPo Chat even has a great free option for starting sites. You can even have Userplane or whatever chat software installed in SkaDate. I’m not sure what confuses you.
