Firebase In-App Messaging

We are adding full support for Firebase In-App Messaging (FIAM) across all mobile apps.

Your dating app will automatically send key profile data into Firebase — such as Gender, Age, City/State/Country, Subscription Type, and more. These properties will let you build precise audiences and target users with highly relevant in-app messages.

We will also send important behavioral events, including Signup Completed, First Match, First Message, and Purchase Success.

You’ll be able to show pop-ups directly based on these events — for example:

• on app start (e.g., limited to once per day),
• right after registration,
• after the user gets their first match,
• after they send/receive their first message,
• right after a successful purchase,
• or any other custom event you configure.

Because all profile data and events sync directly with Firebase, you can also run seasonal and promotional campaigns such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and more — all without releasing a new app update.

This gives you a powerful communication and monetization channel fully controlled from the Firebase Console, with no developer involvement required after the initial setup.
