Video Introduction

Video Introduction makes a personal video a required part of registration. Every new member records an introduction directly with their device’s camera, rather than uploading an existing video. There is no time limit, so members can introduce themselves in their own way.

The video is prominently displayed on the member’s profile. In the mobile apps, it appears first alongside profile photos and plays when tapped. On desktop, it is shown in the Profile Questions tab. Members can flag inappropriate videos for administrator review.

A video introduction lets people hear a member’s voice and see their personality, giving them a more immediate impression than profile text alone. This can make browsing profiles more engaging and help members decide whom they would like to connect with.
